On World Day Against the Death Penalty, Iranian Americans are organizing rallies in DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta and Dallas.

WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, United States, October 6, 2021 / – Over a 2-day period starting Friday October 8, 2021, on World Day Against the Death Penalty, leaders of The Iranian-American community will hold rallies and photo exhibitions in Washington, DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta and Dallas to call for the prosecution of Iranian regime president Ebrahim Raisi and other regime officials for their role in the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988. In Washington, DC, the event will take place outside the entrance to the US State Department.

These events will highlight the voices of the Iranian people, who in successive national protests since 2017 have cried “Death to Khamenei, Death to the dictators” and clearly expressed their desire to overthrow the mullahs’ regime and their long-standing aspiration. to establish a secular democracy. in Iran.
