Iran fire broke out at secret IRGC missile base – Israeli report

A fire broke out on Sunday at an IRGC facility in Iran, killing two and injuring one. On Thursday, ImageSat International – Tel Aviv-based ISI, a commercial satellite imagery provider – estimated that the facility was not just any military complex – it was a secret missile base.

It is still not clear why the fire broke out on Sunday.

A series of explosions and fires have affected industrial sites across Iran, including a number of petrochemical plants, in recent months and over the past year.

Iranian officials called most of the cases incidents or accidents, although some reports claimed at least some of them involved criminal act.

Aging infrastructure in Iran has also been blamed for at least some of the incidents. Frequent power outages recently hit Iran amid a heat wave.
